Cyrus herself takes and (I guess via her website, I'm not sure) apparently distributes far sexier pics of herself than this, including of her in panties and a thin shirt with no bra, lesbianistic suggestiveness, pulling her shirt down to show her bra and cleavage, and bending over and pulling her pants down to show her panties. Her hit song, while not blatantly sexual like "I Touch Myself" or something, is all about teen sexual longing. So, her official statement on the VF photoshoot is hypocritical nonsense that Disney probably wrote for her and contractually forced her to issue.
